When I work in front of the computer or am learning something, I always feel like I have to get into the right headspace.
This is largely affected by my physical surroundings.
I don't want the desk to be dirty. I don't want my Windows desktop to be cluttered with shit either.
I don't want the sun to be blasting its solar flares on the screen.
I don't want my face to be unshaven.
I definitely don't want some random person to be hovering around me and the computer.
It pisses me off and fucks with my mind.
You have the right to have your own headspace, even if it's not regarding work.
Sometimes, I get annoyed when there're too many messages coming in on my phone or when friends keep bugging me to show up for something.
Take a break. Take a breather. Just move away. Get into the right headspace before you make a decision. You owe that to yourself. Why live a half-assed life just because everything around you seems to be half-assing it against you anyway?
