The Friday Post: December's Write EVery Day Challenge Is Done!

Bam!

Told myself to try to write every day for the month of December.

Why? I just wanted to write. And also I am hoping it's a way to kickstart the entire project that is One Dude Listening as we go into the new year in like 12 hours.

I have a bunch of plans for One Dude Listening, mostly: 

. Setting up a freebie to build the email list.

. Super cool emails from me.

. Experiment with Instagram, TikTok and Twitter as my social media channels.

. Start doing some calls cause after all, this is one dude listening.

. Write the fuck out of life as much as I can to entertain the shit out of you.

That's it for now.

I am all for taking things step by step lest I overwhelm myself, or worse, start sounding like a visionary douchebag who's all talk and no action.

This is truly a big thing for me considering that I started a blog a long time ago: www.Alden-Tan.com

I went all in with that and eventually went completely broke. I was unhappy and isolated. The naive dreams of making a bunch of money online while calling myself a boss were rightfully shattered as I couldn't find peace between art and making money.

I really don't want to go back to that time. 

But I'm willing to try my hand again at being a writer on my terms. I hope to make an impact and also help others out. 

It's been 3 years since I stopped writing at the old blog. I've been through employment, studied how to invest and trade and most of all, learnt how important it is to just make friends and connect with others.

So let's see what happens!
